Day 8: How To Tell Your Dream Customers About Your Offer

This 30-day series is a roadmap for you to create an online business by following the training in the One Funnel Away (OFA) Challenge from Russell Brunson and ClickFunnels. You know how the image of the ‘sleazy salesman’ is that guy who talks really fast while trying to make you believe he’s offering you the deal of a lifetime?

Great fish…really…only one dollar…special price just for you…only today…

That approach in marketing and selling has been successful…or else they wouldn’t use it. But it’s also garnered a reputation for being exactly what it is…a smokescreen. That’s why people don’t trust that image.

A different approach, one that is clear and easy-to-follow is the ‘Who, What, Why, How’ script taught on Day 8 of the One Funnel Away Challenge.

This scripted message can be totally spontaneous, but still covers the major facts you want your dream customer to hear.

  • Who are you?
  • What do you have to offer?
  • Why would anyone want or need your offer?
  • How can someone get it?

If you can memorize this script, you will always be able to explain your business. For the OFA challenge, you will be using a version of this script to pitch your Flagship Framework.

But it’s an easily repeatable process for any new product or service you decide to promote.

Day 8 Work Summary

  • Create Your ‘Who, What, Why, Script’ that quickly summarizes the information you want your dream customer to know

Additional: Every day in the challenge, there are additional videos with great information, it is recommended that you watch everything, and apply the teachings to your own work.

Your Results Today

The ‘Who What Why How ‘ script recorded as a sales presentation, or prepared as a sales letter for your landing page

Results to Date

  • An active lead magnet on a one page funnel that collects emails from interested prospects (learn this from the 5-Day Lead Challenge) – 1 product
  • A plan for a Framework (or How-To or Guide) that you can offer your dream customers that helps them achieve a Result. You need to decide on a Core Result Framework, Best Framework from the Core, By-Product, Done-With-You version and Done-For-You version
  • Your Flagship Framework – a key ‘splinter’ part of your Core Framework – 1 product
  • Your Offer Stack to increase the perceived value of your Flagship Framework – (usually) 4 or 5 products
  • Your Facebook page to support your customers, and highlight the value you can deliver
  • Your Social Media Posting Calendar with all your great ideas for engaging with your potential dream customers
  • Your ‘Who What Why How’ script summarizing your Flagship Framework offer – 1 sales presentation for your landing page

A word about costs…you can spend a little or a lot of money at different steps in the OFA process. For example, if you want to make a professional video and hire someone to film you, that’s going to cost you money. But if you use the tools you already have, like a smartphone and free software, you will spend nothing. So the costs are all estimates, based on the amount you would actually have to spend to finish OFA.
