Day 22
This 30-day series is a roadmap for you to create an online business by following the training in the One Funnel Away (OFA) Challenge from Russell Brunson and ClickFunnels. Make sure you are watching the training videos, and following Russell’s instructions. Use these pages to stay on track with the activities.
When it comes to getting an online business up and running in 30 days, the beginning, end and middle of your plans should be focused on getting people to look at your product or service, and making them an offer.
Marketing…Promotion…and Sales
Over the final week of OFA, the focus is on ‘driving traffic,’ that is, getting people to see your landing page, and become interested in your product.
The work you have to learn at this point is ‘how’ to move people towards you.
Now I know that ‘selling’ freaks people out. No one wants to be the sleazy, pushy salesperson who is always bothering people, and claiming to have a great offer for them.
At the same time, if you do not promote your business and tell people what you have to offer, no one will ever know, and you will not make any sales.
The lifestyle freedom that you are dreaming of comes from earning income through your business. If you are unable to generate revenue, the business is not working, and your dream fades fast.
Even if you consider sales and marketing to be some sort of unwelcome annoyance, you must take the time to learn exactly what you need to do for your business.
While all the marketing gurus do have valuable information for you, the techniques and strategies they use may not always be what you need for your own venture.
Do not be afraid to promote. But make sure you always customize the information to suit your target audience.
In OFA, the overall tactic is to use social media to engage with interested customers. But you may find that Zoom conference calls work better, or detailed emails. All that is great.
Pick the tactic you like, and keep promoting.
The exact approach you use is less important than just doing it. You have to set time aside every day (or schedule your posts to run every day), and keep offering more and more valuable content.
Day 22 Work Summary
- Post and Promote – use the social media strategy (or one that best suits your target audience) to promote your business, and drive traffic to your funnel.
Additional: Every day in the challenge, there are additional videos with great information, it is recommended that you watch everything, and apply the teachings to your own work. When concentrating on marketing, you must always be targeting your dream customer avatar, and you must learn to write your sales copy as if you are always writing to them.

A word about costs…you can spend a little or a lot of money at different steps in the OFA process. For example, if you want to make a professional video and hire someone to film you, that’s going to cost you money. But if you use the tools you already have, like a smartphone and free software, you will spend nothing. So the costs are all estimates, based on the amount you would actually have to spend to finish OFA.
Using Click Funnels
OFA is built around using the ClickFunnels software to create your sales funnel. Technically, you can use any webpage software and link the pages together. But ClickFunnels is the only software that lets you manage all the pages together in one view.
The software also links the personal data that you gather from your customers. So if a sale is made on one page, the details link through to the next page…and so on. There are also other features that make it easy for customers to buy at a later date, without re-entering their information.
